Off and on this winter, I have been working on site specific pieces. I try to travel to each location to get the feel of the place and do my photography. While in Dildo, I was standing on a hill and a jolly character walked up to me and asked, "Is you a bus come from away?" (I wondered did he mean ME or my big, yellow car?!)
Then, before I had a chance to answer, he walked away muttering,
"What queer things you'll see when you haven't got a gun".
How I love this island. It really is the neatest place on earth.
